How do you want to describe your journey of Khatron Ke Khiladi so far?
It has been fantastic. Every day is a new day, a new experience. Some days are scary but yeah, I have so far performed stunts that have challenged me both mentally and physically and made me stronger.
Do you have any phobias and how do you plan to conquer them?
I have learnt that it is wise to keep your fears and phobias only to yourself and be prepared for anything that comes your way.
Rohit Shetty has mentioned you as one of the strongest contestants this season. What do you have to say?
I want to thank him for having faith in me. Now, I feel that pressure has just increased and I won’t let him down. The idea is to live each day as it comes.
Did you discover any new fear when you came to Cape Town to shoot?
Honestly speaking, since I’ve already performed that stunt, my biggest fear was of those creepy-crawlies. You give me any other stunt to perform, I won’t feel the jitters, but during the stunts with creepy crawlies it was terrifying.
How did you prepare yourself for the show?
No one can really prepare for what’s in store for us because this show is all about thinking on your feet while facing your fears. How you react to tough situations under pressure matters the most. I think it’s more about the experiences that you learn from over a period.
Your husband participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. Did he give you any advice?
Abhinav has rightly said that any advice from him would be of no use because I’m getting to experience the stunts in my own way. He has his own set of fears, strengths, and limitations, whereas I have my own. So, there is no set formula that you can really pass on.
Who do you think is your biggest competition on the show?
Everybody here is a competition for each other. This show is all about healthy competition and that is helping all of us grow. We are competing yet cheering for each other at the same time.
You have immense fan following across the globe, is there any message for them?
I just want them to pray for me. Having them by my side is the best feeling in the world.
