The trust said in a press release that there is a 40 percent increase in the number of applications this year. While in 2020-21, they received 3200 applications, this year, they have received 4505 online applications. “The increase can be attributed to the fact that many students who had dropped out of their higher education in 2020, came back this year,” the trust said.

The trust also shared that as per the application numbers, they found that commerce is the most popular course among Muslim girls – 58.5 percent of graduate applications are enrolled for BCom.

Husna Sheriff, President, Bazm-e-Niswan said that the organization of women was registered in 1971 to meet the challenges faced by the underprivileged and the destitute. “We are a group of women with vision and foresight.
