Xiaomi has expanded its product lineup with the launch of its latest Android tablet — Xiaomi Pad 5 in India. The Android tablet houses an 11-inch 2.5K display and is powered by Qualcomm 860 chipset. The device features quad speakers and a sleek body.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 also supports the Xiaomi Smart Pen which comes with 4096 pressure sensitivity. The stylus also performs multiple functions like taking notes, taking screenshots and more. The pen charges magnetically to the tablet and promises to offer up to 8 hours of battery backup.
Along with the stylus, the Xiaomi Pad 5 also supports a keyboard dock which offers 12mm deep travel.
Price and availability
Xiaomi Pad 5 comes in two variants — 128GB and 256GB priced at Rs 26,999 and Rs 28,999. The device comes in Cosmic Gray colour option and will go on sale starting May 7. As part of the launch offer, the company is giving the Android tablet at a discounted price of Rs 24,999 and 26,999 respectively. Xiaomi Pad 5 will be available online on Amazon.in, mi.com and Mi Home Stores in the country.

Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with an 11-inch WQXGA display with 2560×1600 pixel resolution. The display offers 120Hz refresh rate and it supports Dolby Vision.
The Android tablet is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. The device comes in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB.
Xiaomi Pad 5 runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI for Pad. The Android tablet sports a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front shooter for selfies.
The device houses a 8720mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
