NEW DELHI: Xiaomi is all set to launch its flagship smartphone — Xiaomi 12 Pro in India. The company has scheduled a launch event for April 27, where the company will launch its high-end smartphone. The Chinese smartphone maker has also confirmed yet another product launch scheduled to take place at the same event.
Xiaomi has revealed that it will also launch the Xiaomi Pad 5 in India on April 27. The company shared a teaser of the upcoming Android tablet. The teaser confirms that the tablet will come with stylus support and support for keyboard dock.
Xiaomi has already launched the Xiaomi Pad 5 in China recently. The company is expected to launch the same variant in India as well. Xiaomi Pad 5 is said to come in two colour options — Cosmic Gray and Pearl White.
Xiaomi Pad 5 specifications (Chinese variant)
Xiaomi Pad 5 features an 11-inch WQXGA display with 2560×1600 pixel resolution. The display offers 120Hz refresh rate and comes with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support. The Android tablet is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor paired with 6GB of RAM.
Xiaomi Pad 5 comes in two storage variants — 128GB and 256GB. The device runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI for Pad. The tablet sports a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter for video calling.
Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with four speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos and is backed by an 8720mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. The device comes with quad speakers and offers support for Xiaomi Smart Pen.
