Xbox Series X: Xbox Series X restock could happen in India soon – Times of India

The Xbox Series X cconsole may arrive in India again as its restock rumours have started surfacing. A report by IGN India claims that the next-gen consoles may get restocked in August only. With this restock, Space Jam: A New Legacy Exclusive Xbox Wireless Controllers may also be added.
Microsoft had managed to edge past Sony in the next-gen console market in India but with stocks getting limited around the month of May, Sony clawed back in with higher PS5 sales once its stock in the country got replenished. The PS5 came to India more than two months after it was launched globally.
Globally, the PS5 fared better than the Xbox Series X|S consoles when it came out. More Sony PlayStation 5 units were sold than both the Xbox Series X and S units combined in the launch week of the next-generation consoles, as per the estimates by game sales tracker VGChartz. As per the estimates, Sony globally sold 1,483,910 PS5 consoles, while Microsoft sold 1,345,386 Xbox Series X/S consoles in the time period between November 8 and November 14, 2020.
The PS5 sold more globally in spite of launching later than the next-gen Xbox consoles. Microsoft launched the new Xbox consoles before Sony brought along the PS5 to the markets. The Xbox Series X and S consoles hit the markets globally on November 10, two days before Sony launched the PS5 in Australia, Japan, North America, New Zealand, Singapore and South Korea on November 12 and then on November 19 for the rest of the world.
So, who will it be this time when Microsoft restocks the Xbox Series X in India? It could be a tight competition.
