xbox cloud gaming: Microsoft to soon bring Xbox Cloud gaming to consoles – Times of India

Moving ahead with it plans to make plans to make gaming together easier across platforms, Microsoft has announced that the Xbox Cloud gaming will arrive on its Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles this holiday season via the Game Pass Ultimate subscription. The company made the announcement during its GamesCom 2021 showcase. Since Xbox Cloud Gaming is already there for PCs, tablets and smartphones, the addition of the Xbox gaming consoles makes it more flexible for gamers.
As per Microsoft, Xbox Game Pass subscribers would be able to jump directly in the game with buddies without having to download any game. There will be over 100 games to choose from at the time of the launch of the Xbox Cloud Gaming. With this service, you will just need to navigate to Xbox Game Pass, look for games with the cloud icon and click the “Play” button, says Microsoft. With a multiplayer game invite by someone from your team, you can join the game instantly without having to wait for the game to install.

“To ensure the highest quality experience across the broadest set of devices, we will support up to 1080p and at 60fps just like Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) across PCs, phones and tablets.”, said Microsoft in a blog post.
Microsoft has also announced the new games coming to the Xbox Game Pass which include, Humankind, Need for Speed Heat, Star Wars Battlefront II, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (Cloud), etc. Humankind will be available on PC while the rest three are only available on Cloud with an EA Play subscription.
