The Tier 4 White Lotus faction in Season 2 of Warzone 2 DMZ includes a mission called Pacific Foothold. This mission is broken down into 3 portions and each of the portions are pretty straight forward. However, it may take you a little bit to complete.
While this mission certainly is easy and straightforward, the items you must find are scattered around the map. This means you’ll have to go on a bit of a scavenger hunt to find each item, which can be a little time-consuming. Once completed, you’ll be rewarded greatly for your time and effort.
Objectives And Rewards
The whole objective of the Pacific Foothold mission is to find and deliver specific items to designated locations. As these items are scattered throughout the island, you will have to search for each one of them. Some items will be more difficult to find than others, with one of them being rare. It may take multiple matches before you’re able to complete this mission. Once you deliver the following items, you’ll receive the ‘Girls Get It Done’ emblem as well as 15,000 XP.
- 3 bottles of gun oil to Dead Drop
- 2 video cassette recorders or gaming consoles to Dead Drop
- 1 blow torch to Dead Drop
Each map will have its own Dead Drop location. These Dead Drops are essentially just dumpsters to stash your gear and items. The Dead Drop you’ll be using for the Pacific Foothold mission will be on Ashika Island. Go to the north portion of this area, and you’ll see Oganikku Farms and Residential POIs. The Dead Drop you’ll want is the one closest to the Residential area. You will be dropping off all the items from each part at the same Dead Drop in this area.
You need to complete each objective for this mission one at a time and drop each item in the Dead Drop.
Part 1: Gun Oil
The gun oil can be a bit frustrating to find. The key here is to find as many toolboxes to loot as possible as they’re most likely to be found in there. The best place to find toolboxes is on the waterways, possibly near the Ashika Island bunker, since the waterways show up on both sides. Keep in mind, there will be more enemies near the water. The farms are another great place to search, as well as Port Ashika, which will also have a few tool boxes there as well.
The smaller long buildings with the 3 doors in the Port will typically have a couple of toolboxes in them with a good chance to have the oil. You can drop off one oil at a time if you want or wait until you have all 3 before dropping it at the Dead Drop in the Residential District of Ashika. Once all 3 are dropped off, you can move on to part 2.
Part 2: Videocassette Recorders Or Consoles
The best location to find these items will be near the Beach Club area. In the market area with a bunch of little shops, you have a good chance of finding these items while searching the various buildings. You can also find them inside of toolboxes and the farms. Within the farm area, you can find the recorders or consoles just sitting there displayed on the shelves. To complete part 2 of this mission, there are a few different ways you can go about it.
You can either get 1 video cassette and one console, 2 video cassettes, or 2 consoles. When you find 2 of these, you can drop them off at the same Dead Drop as the Gun Oil in the Residential District of Ashika before moving on to part 3.
Part 3: Blow Torch
This is arguably the most difficult part of the mission, finding the blow torch. You will have a low chance of finding what you need with part 3. The blow torch is a rare item in Ashika Island and some people have done over 20 matches in this area without having luck in finding it. The best place to find it however was discovered to be the Port. Go to one of the storage houses with the 3 doors and loot the toolboxes. Keep in mind that just because you looted a place in a previous match, doesn’t mean it won’t spawn in that spot.
Some people have looted the same toolbox a few times until it finally spawned in it. Make sure to check in all of the toolboxes throughout the map, though others have had more luck at the Port. Once you drop it off at the Dead Drop in the Residential District, you have completed the Pacific Foothold mission. After you finally complete part 3, you will receive the 15,000 experience points and the Girls Get It Done emblem to proudly display alongside any calling card you have.
