Actor Varun Dhawan shared an old video of his interaction with wrestler Triple H on Instagram. Triple H announced his official in-ring retirement last month. Sharing the video, Varun wrote, “Thank you HHH @tripleh @wwe, One of my all-time favourite WWE superstars hung up his boots at WrestleMania. I was fortunate enough to meet him talk to him about my love of pro wrestling and the rock.” The video is from Varun’s 2017 interaction with the wrestler.
In the video, Varun can be heard saying, “Honestly I am a die-hard fan. If you need me for anything, if I can spread a message, if I can go out there, it is too late for me to get into this but….” Triple H replies, “If we open something up I will ask you.” Varun then says, “Definitely, and you’ll be surprised with the number of people who’ll show up.”
VJ Bani J reacted to Varun’s video and commented, “OMG @varundvn I am so jellyyy! Loveeeeeee HHH!!!!!!!!!!” Actor Amy Jackson dropped fire emojis in the comments section.
Varun had met Triple H during his WWE Live India tour in 2017. At that time, Varun had also shared a photo with him on his Instagram handle. He had captioned it, “With the game #HHH #legend. Thank you for the seats hunter @tripleh.”
Triple H is regarded as one of the greatest and most popular professional wrestlers, having been a part of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW) promotions for close to three decades. He recently made his last in-ring appearance at WWE’s flagship event WrestleMania.
Varun was last seen in the 2020 film Coolie No. 1. Last year, he revealed the poster of his next film Bhediya, on social media. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan. In the film Varun and Kriti Sanon will be seen playing the lead roles, while actors Janhvi Kapoor and Flora Saini will be reprising their roles from the previous installments, Roohi and Stree, respectively. The film is slated to release in November 25, 2022.
Apart from Bhediya, Varun also has Jug Jug Jeeyo in the pipeline. The comedy drama film is directed by Raj Mehta and is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta. Apart from Varun, the film will star actors Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead roles alongside Prajakta Koli and Manish Paul. The film is slated to release on June 24, 2022.
