Valorant Introduces New Agent Deadlock Along With the New EP 7 Act 1 Battle Pass

Riot Games has introduced a new agent named Deadlock. The latest Sentinel to join the Valorant ranks hails from Norway. This agent caries state of the art nanowire tech which allows her to take control of a map. Here are all her abilities in detail.

Deadlock Abilities

GravNet (C)

This is a GravNet grenade which can either be thrown or also lobbed in the air, like Raze’s grenades. The GravNet grenade forces any enemies caught in its detonation to crouch and move slowly.

Sonic Sensor (Q)

This Sonic Sensor ability can be placed to monitor an area where enemies are making a sound. Enemy footsteps, weapons firing, or any other “significant noise” renders enemies in that concussed.

Barrier Mesh (E)

Barrier Mesh is a throwable disc and when it lands, it generates barriers from the origin point. These barriers in place block character movement, not allowing players caught in this area to move forward.

Annihilation (X)

Deadlock’s ultimate ability is the Nanowire Accelerator. This propels a pulse of nanowires that captures the first enemy contacted. The enemy gets cocooned and sent on a nanowire path. The enemy will get eliminated when they reach the end of the path. However, they can be rescued since the nanowire cocoon is destructible.

Episode 7 Act I Battle Pass

Valorant Episode 7 Act I will also feature a new battle pass. This battle pass will have the Composite Phantom and Blush Operator among other gun skins and rare in-game items. Those items include the Smoke Maze spray and Pancake Pile-Up. The next Valorant episode will go live on June 27.
