Episode 7 Act II is all set to start in Valorant on August 29, bringing with it new maps, skins, and other changes. Valorant has already been teasing the new reveals, which, according to rumours, includes a new map based on Los Angeles. Details on new skins too have now leaked online.

Valorant Episode 7 Act II skin bundle details and more

According to two leakers, Valorant Updates and Valorant Leaks & News, the upcoming skin bundle is based on Water Dragon with the skins “dark green” in colour. A representative concept art has also been posted based on a 2021 skin from League of Legends called Lagoon Dragon Kai’Sa.

Other reports suggest that the skins will be available for Sheriff, Vandal, Judge, Operator, and melee. The melee skin will reportedly be similar to the Blade of Serket skin already available in the game.

Valorant players in India can expect Episode 7 Act 2 to roll out on August 30 at 2:30 am IST.

In addition to this, Africa will soon be getting its first own server. Valorant launched in 2020, but in the past three years, the game did not have any servers located in Africa. Valorant players will soon be getting their local server based out of South Africa. According to Riot’s announcement on August 17, the company has partnered with Cape Town based game developer content platform Carry1st to help with the rollout.

Red Flags during agent selection and how to deal with throwers, according to players

In other news, a Reddit thread “What’s your red flag in agent selection” has become quite popular in the Valorant community. And players prompting others to take Sage, has to be the most pointed out red flag.

Sage’s arsenal comes with healing orbs, which can not only heal others and herself, but can also revive fallen players, and block entrances to entire sides on the map. Though it is one of the first agents found unlocked in the game, picking Sage gameplay and being good at it is also a challenge. Which is why, while many would want a Sage in their team, they do not pick her themselves. And many others take it a step forward by pressuring others to choose her.

Reddit users have also pointed out that Skye is also a healer who can heal only her teammates. But Sage seems to be the more preferred teammate than Skye. So what happens when players don’t select agents they’re told to pick? Often, there are players who troll their teammates or sabotage games, when they get agents of their choice.

Which brings us to another popular Reddit thread in the Valorant community, “What’s the best way to deal with griefers and people that throw your game effectively?” Many suggest that ignoring them is the best way to go, with the aim of not entertaining or encouraging the throwers. Players have pointed out that when the teammates remain unhinged, the thrower realises the insignificance of their sabotage.

On this principle, many players decide to mute the players or turn off chats. But it’s definitely not a sustainable solution, as this also hampers gameplay.

Some others, however, proposed that they should be trolled back to make their throwing as less entertaining as possible for them. But then, the button to report players is also right there.
