Uncharted Movie Novelization Will Be Narrated By Original Nathan Drake Actor Nolan North

The original Nathan Drake, Nolan North, will provide the voice of the Uncharted movie novelization.

According to Variety, the prolific voice actor, who voiced Nathan Drake throughout the Uncharted video game series, will return to the role for the upcoming audiobook adaptation. But he may sound a little different, given that he’s playing every character.

“I got to do Antonio Banderas, a little bit of a Mark Wahlberg, and put on my own Boston accent a little bit,” he explained. “And then Nathan Drake. I didn’t do Tom Holland, though. I kind of just did me. I tried to young him up a little bit.”

Nolan North voiced Nathan Drake in Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, returning to the role for each of its critically acclaimed sequels – Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Now, it looks as though he’ll be taking on the movie version, in some small way.

Uncharted stars Tom Holland as adventurer Nathan Drake, and follows his first adventure alongside his partner and mentor, Sully (played by Mark Wahlberg). Although little is known about the film’s plot, we can expect plenty of thrills as seen in the recent trailer that shows Drake falling out of the back of a cargo plane. Another trailer even gave us a glimpse of Sully’s iconic mustache in action.

Tom Holland stars as Nathan Drake alongside Mark Wahlberg as Sully. Joining them are Sophia Ali as a fellow treasure hunter and love interest Chloe Frazer, Tati Gabrielle as Braddock, and Antonio Banderas as the film’s villain.

Uncharted is directed by Ruben Fleischer and based on a script by Rafe Judkins, Art Marcum, and Matt Holloway.
