Twitter reacts as Himesh Reshammiya stands on tippy toes to match wife’s height, tells him to accept ‘jo hai so hai’

Singer Himesh Reshammiya and his wife Sonia Kapoor were recently spotted at the Mumbai airport flying out of the city. After getting out of their car, the couple posed for pictures. Himesh was seen trying to stand on his tippy toes next to his wife to appear taller than her. In a video, Himesh Reshammiya is seen holding Sonia and trying to pose while standing on his toes. At one point he was also seen tripping while giving a pose as he tried to balance himself on his toes.

Taking to Twitter, a user wrote, “Never saw Tom Cruise doing that with Nicole Kidman.” Another person said, “Not everyone can carry well like Tom Cruise.” Another user tweeted, “Sophie Turner is taller than Joe Jonas, Zendaya is taller than Tom Holland.”

“I don’t know what’s the fuss about a wife being a couple of inches taller also… tall women are hot!” tweeted another person. “What’s the insecurity? If she is taller, she is taller,” wrote a fan. “He’s literally standing on his toes just to look as tall as her,” said another Twitter user. Several Twitter users advised Himesh to accept his height and ‘not be insecure’ about it.

Recently, Himesh was seen as one of the judges of the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. The show, hosted by Aditya Narayan, also had Vishal Dadlani and Shankar Mahadevan as the two other judges. Himesh has been on the judges’ panel for several reality shows including Sur Kshetra, The Voice India, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs, Love Me India, Indian Idol among others.

Last year in June, Himesh had released the title track of Surroor 2021, his third studio album. His earlier two albums were Aap Se Mausiiquii (2016) and Aap Kaa Surroor (2006).

Himesh has composed music for movies such as Aitraaz, Tere Naam, Aksar, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Bodyguard, and Kick. He is also popular for singing songs including Mujhko Yaad Sataye Teri, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, and Hookah Bar. He ventured into acting in 2007, with the semi-autobiographical Aap Kaa Surroor. He followed it up with films such as Karzzzz, Radio, and The Xposé.
