Zen Studios has announced via a brand new overview trailer that Circus Electrique will release for Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC via Steam and GOG on September 6th.
Players can now add Circus Electrique to their wishlist on Steam to get notified of any updates. The upcoming indie strategy title supports up to seven languages, including Spanish, Russian, and French. Also, players will have the option to use their controller if they do not wish to use a mouse and keyboard.
Circus Electrique is a turn-based, tactical RPG set in Victorian steampunk London. The game features 14 playable archetypes with unique abilities, allowing players to build up their standalone team. However, Circus Electrique can not be categorized as an RPG only because it has part tactics and part management elements that will directly shape your gameplay.
The devotion morale system, which works similar to the affliction state in Darkest Dungeon games, will likely make players’ management experience frustrating. Players should assemble the most ideal team with classic circus performers to save the city from savage killers. Also, they will be able to recruit and train performers coming from around the world to decide which one will take place in your team. Last but not least, the spoils players collect from the expeditions will be spread among performers to keep them happy and ambitious.
Developed by Zen Studios, the Hungarian-based team behind some beloved games like Castle Storm and Grimmy Tale, Circus Electrique aims to appeal to die-hard Darkest Dungeon and Iratus: Lord of the Dead fans to introduce its innovative Devotion system. Circus Electrique joined the list of RPGs coming later this year. Tower of Fantasy from Hotta Studio, Airoheart with 16-bit pixel art style, and the hotly anticipated The DioField Chronicle are only three of the RPG titles set to launch in 2022.
