We’re excited to announce that TPT has earned a Level IV certification for meeting evidence requirements under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). With this certification, educators can feel confident in TPT’s deep commitment to research-based practices.

Our previous research indicated that teachers who use TPT School Access reported a greater sense of well-being, connection to school, and were less likely to consider making a job-related change. Now we have TPT School Access meeting ESSA Level IV evidence requirements,” said Michelle Cummings, Chief Academic Officer at TPT. “As a school and district administrator for many years, I know how important it is to have research evidence and teacher support before making a purchase. By partnering with LearnPlatform to build our evidence base and align with ESSA, administrators can have even greater confidence that TPT School Access will help schools and districts reach their goals.”
Using federal funding for TPT’s evidence-based interventions
Since ESSA requires federal funding and stimulus dollars to be used for evidence-based interventions, this certification empowers schools and districts to use TPT to drive student outcomes.
This means that you may be able to apply title funds to TPT School Access, the subscription that empowers teachers with the resources and tools they need in today’s classroom.

We worked with third-party partner LearnPlatform, leveraging their Evidence-as-a-Service offering, to document TPT’s logic model.
