TMNT Collaboration Teased For Call of Duty: Warzone 2 And Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty players will soon be able to play as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ most notable villain, as the Call of Duty Twitter account has teased a Shredder operator skin for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

Call of Duty’s tweet says, “A new evil will rise.” The included teaser video shows off the familiar silhouette and bladed armor of Shredder from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He even has a canister of TGRI’s famous green ooze strapped to his armor. Players will want to get their pizza and nunchucks ready for Shredder’s arrival on March 21.

It’s uncertain if the turtles themselves will also be joining the collaboration, but it seems odd to have Shredder without the heroes in a half shell to fight him. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles might seem like an odd fit for Call of Duty, but this isn’t the first time a major collaboration has gone a little less human, as iconic characters such as Godzilla, King Kong, and even Attack on Titan’s Armored Titan were featured as operator skins in Warzone 1 and Vanguard.

Shredder’s arrival looks to fall shortly after the start of Call of Duty’s Season 2 Reloaded update, as the current battle pass suggests the big update should happen around March 15. We’ll likely get more details on the TMNT collaboration before the big update. Here is everything we know about Season 2 Reloaded for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.
