Sony also recently released The Last of Us Part 1 for PC following its trend of importing PlayStation exclusives to the platform. However, the port didn’t have the smoothest of launches and was riddled with bugs instead on Day 1. The developers are still working out many of the technical issues of the game, therefore getting The Last of Us Part 1 verified for Steam Deck isn’t a priority for them right now.
Most recently, Naughty Dog released patch v1.0.1.7 for The Last of Us Part 1. This hotfix works towards resolving the game randomly crashing on GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs. Moreover the patch also fixes issues related to the UI/UX, Xbox controller inputs, HUD, shortcuts, memory crash issues, and additional bugs.
