What Happened Previously On The Devil Is A Part-Timer?

Sadao asked Chi to lower her voice during their working hours so as not to frighten the customers. Later, when Kisaki came to the cafe, Sadao asked about her ability to make such wonderful coffee, after which she revealed her special course. Later, Sadao found Chi and Emi practicing their skills to become more powerful, making him wonder how much he and the others have grown.

After her father’s presumed demise, Emi had been consumed by revenge, but when she learned he was still alive, she lost the reason for her existence. Chi informed them that because of Kisaki’s ban, they could no longer rely on Sariel, and Kisaki determined that the best way to deal with it was to concentrate on their work at McRonald’s. Still angered at Maou, Emi broke through the barrier and took out her sword feeling her duty as the Hero of the realm. The demon commanded his doll to help, but Emi skillfully countered all the attacks, forcing him to retreat.
