If there’s any show that can drop your jaws with its graphic content, then it’s probably Amazon’s The Boys.
The adaptation of the popular comic book series showcases superheroes in a different light, compared to the regular shows and films involving superpowered characters.
During the course of a season, The Boys has stunned audiences with its content, and it seems like the shock factor won’t stop with Season 4, which might release later this year.
According to The Boys VFX Supervisor and Associate Producer Stephan Fleet‘s recent tweet, it looks like showrunner Eric Kripke is all set to disgust audiences with more graphic scenes.
I think I just saw the most disgusting thing I have seen working in this business thus far. #TheBoystv

The show’s Twitter account even poked fun at Fleet’s tweet by claiming that the series might take a U-Turn, and have a PG rating compared to the 18+ content from the previous three seasons.
Season 4, rated PG!!! https://t.co/KQg0QuMnxM

Simon Pegg announces his return to Season 4 of The Boys
In other The Boys news, British actor Simon Pegg will also be part of the upcoming season. Pegg recently posted a photo on his Instagram account, which showed the words “Hugh Sr”, which means that the actor will be back to play the father of Hughie Campbell, who is played by Jack Quaid.
The Mission Impossible actor was part of Season 1. However, he hasn’t made much of an impact since then, as he only showed up in the Season 3 premiere. It will be interesting to see what the character has in store for the upcoming season.
