Kaneli’s Flight Training tests the player’s paragliding skills. While the beginner test is easy to pass, the players must master the paragliding mechanics fully if they want to pass the advanced test.

Starting The Quest

To start Kaneli’s flight training, the players will have to talk with Kaneli, who will then give the players the side quest. Kaneli can be found in the Flight Range at the end of the road in Dronoc’s Pass near the3793, 2317, 0161 coordinates in the Hebra Region. The nearest fast travel point is the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower. From there, the players must head southwest to Kaneli’s location.

However, the players will first have to complete ‘Tulin of Rito Village’ quest first to start the Kaneli’s Flight Training side quest. Before heading to the region, ensure you have cold resistance so that you don’t get damaged by the cold weather of that region.

Kaneli’s Flight Training Beginner Course

After talking with Kaneli, he will tell Link about the Beginner Course. It is an easy process if you have paragliding and diving experience in the game. For the first training course, you must pass 15 out of the 20 rings in 30 seconds. It’s a race against time, but don’t hurry; you will have five extra rings. All the rings are arranged in a circular pattern around a hill-like structure.

You can pass the rings from either side to pass from the top or below. To begin, first, jump off the platform and open your paraglider. The winds from below will lift you.

Position yourself over the three rings directly before you and press R to dive or fall. Once you fall between the three rings, quickly open up your paraglider again to updraft and dive between the next two to your left. After that, open up your paraglider again, and keep falling from the top of the rings. You can also keep going up from below the rings. Repeat this process of diving and paragliding through all the remaining rings. The idea is to dive when you are above the rings and paraglide when you are below the rings. You have to time and position yourself correctly.

After completing the beginner training, Kaneli will reward you with 50 purple rupees and suggest you take the advanced course.

Kaneli’s Flight Training Advanced Course

After completing the beginning course, you can immediately start the advanced course. Talk with Kaneli again, and when asked about the training, select “Advanced Course”. You will then have to pay 20 rupees as the entry fee for the course. The advanced course will have 35 rings to pass in 50 seconds.

The rings in the advanced course are positioned throughout the Flight Range. You must start by gliding through the rings set horizontally before you. After that, go for the rings placed vertically. Follow a similar technique to the beginner’s course. Glide up, and then dive. The only tricky thing about the advanced course is that you must move throughout the range to get through the rings as they are scattered around.

The rewards for the advanced course depend on the number of rings you have crossed. Crossing less than 30 rings will get you 50 rupees, crossing between 30 and 34 rings will get you 100 rupees, and crossing all 35 rings will get you 300 rupees.

The flight training course can be done anytime and can also be repeated. This is a great way to farm some rupees in the game.
