First, the limited edition of the Super Mario Encyclopedia: The Official Guide to the First 30 Years is on sale at Amazon for just $44.36 (normally $80). The Kindle ebook version is also on discounted to just $22 (down from $40).
This 256-page book covers the first three decades of the Super Mario franchise’s history and includes guides for many of the games, interviews with series producer Takashi Tezuka, and other behind-the-scenes information. The limited-edition hardcover Super Mario Encyclopedia comes with one of four unique slipcover cases emblazoned with iconic Super Mario powerups like the 1-Up Mushroom, Fire Flower, Super Mushroom, and Super Star. The cover you receive is chosen randomly.
