NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index traded positive around 11:35AM(IST)on Monday in a weak market.
Tata Consultancy(up 1.01 per cent), Wipro(up 0.86 per cent), Mindtree(up 0.28 per cent) and Tech Mahindra(up 0.22 per cent) were among the top gainers.
L&T Technology(down 4.0 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Infotech(down 2.35 per cent), Coforge(down 0.94 per cent), MPhasis(down 0.42 per cent) and Infosys(down 0.03 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty IT index was up 0.02 per cent at 36012.9 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 194.7 points at 17570.1, while the BSE Sensex was down 678.07 points at 58957.94.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 12 were trading in the green, while 37 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Trident Ltd, YES Bank, Tata Power and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of D K Enterprises Global Ltd., Dhunseri Invst, Lakshmi Finance, Kotyark Industries Ltd. and Bharti Airtel(PP)hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Fino Payments Bank Ltd., One97 Communications Ltd., Sadbhav Eng, Spandana Sphoorty and Nidan Laboratories And Healthcare Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
