Starfield Continues To Show It Has the Gamers in Mind, Has a Literal Rage Quit Button in Spaceships

Bethesda’s Starfield has been the talk of the town ever since the game was showcased in detail after the Xbox Games Showcase. The Starfield Direct had over 40 minutes of deep dive into one of the most anticipated titles coming this year. The space-exploration RPG has a vast variety of worlds to offer and to reach those, you need a spaceship. When the showcase featured spaceship customization, that is when fans got to see a quick look at the control panel of the spaceship.

Starfield Rage Quit Button

One eagle eyed fan noticed a rather interesting easter egg that I personally believe is a pretty cool one. Bethesda has added a rage quit button on the spaceship, as discovered by Reddit user ninjasaid13 (and spotted by PC Gamer). The term rage quit is one of the most popular gaming terms, especially in recent years (thanks multiplayer live service games). As the term suggests, it is considered rage quitting when a gamer quits any game immediately due to anger or frustration.

The Rage quit button is not the only easter egg on the control panel. There is also an RNG (Random Number Generators) button on the panel. RNG is a method used in many games. Some people also noticed Capcom on a button but that does not necessarily refer to the game publisher. Capcom actually stands for Capsule Communicator which is actually a thing in aviation and space filght. Still, it does have a different meaning for us gamers.

Starfield will release on September 6 for the Xbox Series X|S and PC.
