Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – Preorder Bonus Details About the Upcoming Respawn game out including a Blaster

Some new information about the much-anticipated sequel of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has just made its way to the internet. According to the reports, pre-order bonuses for both the regular and Deluxe editions of the game have been revealed.

The details about Pre-order perks came just hours after the release date for the game leaked through an early Steam listing. As reported, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is expected to be released on March 15, 2023.

Furthermore, we also received more information about the title’s plot, setting, and other changes to combat and gameplay, ahead of the Respawn title’s gameplay reveal at The Game Awards 2022.

However, one information that seems to have skipped past most fans revolve around the game’s protagonist Cal Kestis using a blaster. As spotted by The Gamer, the pre-order bonuses for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor feature the Combustion Blaster Set, which gets upgraded to the DL-44 Blaster Set if you purchase the Deluxe Edition.

This isn’t the first time EA and Respawn has revealed hints about Kestis using a Blaster alongside a Jedi’s traditional weapon, the lightsaber.

In the game’s teaser trailer, fans noticed Kestis sporting a holster around his waist. Similarly, the game’s thumbnail art confirms the suspicion that fans had about the Jedi Knight using a blaster to fight against the Empire.

Currently, it’s unclear how the Blaster comes into play, and it’s highly likely that this new addition might have stemmed from the events that took place in the five years between Fallen Order and Survivor. However, with the latter’s Steam page teasing a ton of gameplay changes, it seems like the Blaster will be a major element in the combat system alongside the lightsaber and other force abilities.
