Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Delayed by Six Weeks to April 28

One of 2023’s biggest video game releases will see a slight delay as EA and Respawn have postponed the launch of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was set to release on March 17. However, the developers recently announced that the project’s arrival has been delayed by six weeks to April 28.

In a blog post, both EA and Respawn explained their decision to postpone the title’s release. The developers confirmed that they have completed building all the content, as part of Cal Kestis’ journey five years after the events of the original. Currently, the team is confirmed to be working on the final stage, which includes, “bug fixes to enhance performance, stability, polish, and most importantly, the player experience.”

The team at Respawn shared that they need more time to fine tune the experience. “In order for the team to hit the Respawn quality bar, provide the team the time they need, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we have added six crucial weeks to our release schedule,” said the Star Wars Jedi team.

In the end, the latest Star Wars adventure will arrive a bit later than expected. However, fans will be happy to know that the title won’t have a substantial delay to its release.
