Star Wars Celebration 2023 may have just wrapped up, but Disney couldn’t leave without announcing that the 2025 event will take place in Japan.
Announced during the closing ceremonies of the London Celebration, the next event (as Lucasfilm is skipping 2024) will take place from April 18 to April 20, 2025.
No specific city for the Japanese Star Wars Celebration was announced, but it will most likely take place in Tokyo. For those who’ve missed the last four days of Star Wars chaos, Star Wars Celebration is the biggest event on any fan of the galaxy far, far away’s calendar.

It sees tons of announcements made for Star Wars films, TV shows, books, comics, video games, and more, with the creators and cast of those projects coming out to share what they’ve been working on.
This year’s Celebration saw three new Star Wars movies announced, updates on TV shows including Ahsoka and The Acolyte, the return of Daisy Ridley as Rey Skywalker, and so much more.
