A new update for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC allows players to link their Steam and PlayStation Network accounts.
The new feature dropped with Patch 1.1006.0.0, which went live yesterday. And as mentioned in the patch notes, players can now link the two accounts, and avail rewards like the Resilient Suit, Concussive Blast Gadget and two skill points.
Talks about planned connectivity between the two platforms have been there for quite some time. However, yesterday’s update allowed Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered to become the first PlayStation title on PC to avail this feature. It’s very likely that other PlayStation titles on PC like God of War will soon have the option to link accounts as well.
Other than the account linking, the latest patch brings upon many other changes as well. This includes Intel XeSS upscaling technology, fixes to performance degradation issues when ray-tracing is enabled, visual fixes for some cinematics in 32:9 aspect ratio and many more.
