Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse brought together an ensemble cast, voicing the different Spideys from across universes. A popular actor, who is quite well known in pop culture due to his appearance in The Boys, is now confirmed to be a part of the movie. Jack Quaid, who plays Hughie in the Prime Video series recently posted a Tweet, sharing a picture of his character from the movie.
The Boys star Jack Quaid is in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
The Boys’ actor Jack Quaid is a part of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse too. Though, we get to see his character for a short while in the movie, with only a few lines, voiced by Quaid, it’s still an integral part of Gwen’s backstory.
Jack Quaid has voiced Peter Parker from Earth-65, which is where Gwen Stacy is from. We got to know about the death of Gwen’s Peter Parker in the first movie itself. But Across the Spider-verse further explores the story of Peter Parker from Earth-65, which attributes a few lines to the actor as well.
Quaid had shared earlier on May 31st, that he too was “technically in Spider-Verse”. However, it’s hard to spot him, given the short span of his scene in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse. On 4th June however, Quaid posted another Tweet where he shared a snap of his scene playing in the theatre, revealing that he plays Peter Parker of Earth 65.
With the number of Spider-Man movies in the horizon as a part of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, and MCU, we wonder if we’ll get to see more of Jack Quaid in the upcoming movies, especially if there’s a Gwen Stacy spin-off movie in the making.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in now in theatres, starring Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Oscar Isac and Jake Johnson amongst others.
