Firstly, gamers should know that PlayStation Plus games for November 2022 are available now. PlayStation Plus subscribers can add these titles to their game library for free in the month of November. The list of titles available as part of the subscription includes Nioh 2, Heavenly Bodies and Lego Harry potter Collection. Players can claim these titles between November 1 and November 6, 2022.
In other news, the Sony earnings release revealed that the PlayStation Plus subscription service has not been doing so well since the introduction of the new tiers, Extra and Premium. The report noted that Sony saw a decline in the number of subscribers from 47.3 million subscribers in Q1 FY22 to 45.4 million subscribers in Q2 FY22.
The good news is that the fall in subscribers has not affected the subscription revenue for Sony. Instead, Sony has just had its best quarter ever for subscription revenue with revenue per subscriber increasing by 21% year-on-year for the PlayStation Plus segment. So even though the membership has seen a decline in subscribers, it has seen an increase in the amount the existing members are paying more for the new tiers.

Moreover, according to a report by VG247, PlayStation Plus still remains more popular amongst players when compared to Xbox Game Pass. According to their report Xbox Game Pass recorded over 25 million subscribers for their membership plan, which is almost half of the 45.4 million subscribers recorded by PlayStation Plus in Q2 of FY22.
In other news, Sackboy: A Big Adventure has had a slow start on PC compared to the other PlayStation titles. According to SteamDB, Sackboy has had 350 concurrent players in their 24-hour peak and their all-time peak stands at 610 concurrent players. The game has ranked 184 in the top seller category on Steam. All the other PlayStation titles that have been ported to PC have recorded more than 10,000 all-time peak concurrent players, with God of War being the highest at 73,529 players.
Lastly, a new PlayStation Patent for Content Generation and Method has been spotted by Exputer. According to the patent details, Sony will use AI in the future for content generation and arrangement of objects in the virtual world. It will help in the creation of interactive content for the user. It will also help with virtual environment modification to include more elements and variations.
