Sony has announced two new large screen TVs — Bravia XR 77A80J OLED and 85X85J — in India. The Bravia XR 77A80J OLED is powered by the new Cognitive processor XR, while the 85X85J television is powered by X1 4K HDR picture processor.
The company says that both TVs are designed to offer class-leading picture quality, vibrant shades of colour and more. Also, both TVs come with Google TV operating system.

To make things more interesting for buyers, the company has announced pre-booking offer for Bravia XR 77A80J. Buyers can pre-book the TV and avail of a cashback of Rs 20,000 on select cards along with 2 years warranty between August 11 and August 16.
For the new 85X85J Google TV, an inaugural cashback of Rs 20,000 on select cards is available for customers from August 11, 2021 to August 16, 2021. Both the new large-screen televisions can be booked via Sony retail stores (Sony Center and Sony Exclusive), www.ShopatSC.com portal and other major electronic stores in India.

The new 77A80J and 85X85J TVs come loaded with XR Triluminos Pro and Triluminos Pro panels respectively with a 3D colour algorithm that claims to produce true-to-life colours. The more expensive XR-77A80J is powered by a new Cognitive Processor XR and the 85X85J is equipped with Sony’s X1 4K HDR image processor.
Apart from that, both TVs come with HDMI 2.1, 120Hz refresh rate, ALLM and VRR support. For an even better cinematic experience, Sony is also offering Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, IMAX enhanced with Ambient optimisation and Acoustic auto calibration technology.
Both TVs run Google TV operating system and come with Apple AirPlay 2, HomeKit and Google Assistant and more.
In terms of audio, the 7780J OLED features a 3D surround sound setup, while the 85X85J features X-Balanced speakers.
