Sojourn Origins Unveiled In Latest Overwatch 2 Trailer

Overwatch is a fan favourite game and with the sequel releasing soon, the hype has never been higher. Players have learned some information about the game and the characters through snippets and short clips. Blizzard is keeping a lot of information under wraps while teasing the fans with bits and pieces of content. The latest upload consists of an origin story of a new character that will be joining the team in Overwatch 2.

The trailer has been titled, “Sojourn Origin Story”, so we know who they are talking about. The trailer starts with a voice in the background mentioning that the meeting of the ‘International Justice Commission’ has been called to order, with the character going through weapons in an arsenal.

The character’s name and title is ‘Acting Commander Vivian Chase’ and her call sign is dubbed, ‘Sojourn’. Sojourn is already acquainted with team of Overwatch when her team, the ‘Canadian Special Forces’, partnered up with them during the ‘Omni Crisis’ war. Sojourn also mentions that she has word. Her reason for joining is that one of the prominent characters in the previous game, Jack Morrison, reached out to her after the war to join the Overwatch team.

Sojourn is well acquainted with the happenings in a battlefield, she has the experience of running point, as well as commanding several missions. Her character has been provided with depth and humanity as she mentions that her goal for every mission has always been to bring back everyone.

The video is ended by showing her gearing up to ride towards the light, on a road that does tell you where its going to take you, her eyes flash before she puts on her helmet and the video ends with the Overwatch Logo displayed and the 3D Game version of Sojourn.
