Skull and Bones: Ubisoft Pirate Adventure Title Delayed for the 5th Time, Now Launching in March 2023

Pirate adventure enthusiasts will have to wait longer for Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones, as the developers have announced yet another delay for the long-awaited title.

In a statement released by the makers of Skull and Bones, the developers have assured fans about the game being done with its development. However, following the recent technical tests involving insider program members, the developers have planned to push the release to March 9, 2023 to polish and balance the experience.

The postponement of the launch date to March 2023 makes it the title’s fifth delay, ever since it was first announced by Ubisoft at E3 2017. The game has underwent several changes with its settings and gameplay elements, with issues of management and harassment claims flaring up at Ubisoft Singapore.

Even through all these issues and delays, it seemed like fans will finally get their hands on it, when Ubisoft finally revealed a release date for Skulls and Bones earlier this year. The title was originally set to touch down on November 8, 2022, and judging by the looks of the trailer, the pirate adventure game definitely looks promising.

Along with that, the game was recently showcased at Ubisoft Forward, alongside other newly announced titles of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. With another delay added to the mix, the Skull and Bones community will now have to wait another four months to finally aboard the ship of their dreams and conquer the seas.
