Actor Shruti Seth has opened up about her kissing scene with fellow actor Mugdha Godse in their upcoming web series Bloody Brothers. In a new interview, Shruti called the scene funny. She added that for actors ‘performance trumps discomfort’. Bloody Brothers features Jaideep Ahlawat and Zeeshan Ayyub in the lead roles. The kissing scene between Shruti Seth and Mugdha Godse featured in the trailer of Bloody Brothers, which was released earlier this month. Towards the end of the video, Mughda is seen holding Shruti and kissing her. While Shruti wore a black outfit, Mughda opted for a white tank top under a shirt.
Speaking with Times Of India, Shruti said, “It was funny because both of us had never done a scene like it before but Shaad (Ali, the director really put us at ease. And then for actors the performance trumps discomfort so we eventually made it seem totally natural”.
When Shruti was asked about the audience is progressive enough to accept such scenes, she said, “As for the audience we’ll have to wait for them to see it and give their verdict I suppose”.
Bloody Brothers has been directed by Shaad Ali. It also stars veteran actor Satish Kaushik, Tina Desai, Jitendra Joshi, Maya Alagh, and Yuri Suri. Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India, Bloody Brothers will premiere on ZEE5 on March 18.

Recently news agency ANI quoted Shaad as saying on the series, “Bloody Brothers is unlike any brotherly show seen before in India. Jaggi and Daljeet share a twisted camaraderie and this stark personality difference brings out the dark comedy in situations so beautifully. It was a treat directing them and I hope that the viewers enjoy this unique and fresh relation between two brothers.”
