By Online Desk

Serena Williams has dropped a hint that she’s planning to retire after winning her singles match on the WTA Tour. Williams defeated Spain’s Nuria Parrizas-Diaz in straight sets 6-4, 6-3 at the National Bank Open in Canada. This is her first victory in 430 days.

“I guess there’s just a light at the end of the tunnel. I don’t know, I’m getting closer to the light, so… lately that’s been it for me. I can’t wait to get to that light,” she said post-match.

According to reports, she added: “I love playing, though… but, you know, I can’t do this forever. Sometimes you just want to try your best to enjoy the moments, and do the best that you can.”

He said: “The two of them have a really special place with me and I have a very close relationship with them, Daily Express reports.
