Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 2.18% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the were Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.78% or 1.36 points to trade at 15.26 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:) added 3.12% or 1.45 points to end at 47.95 and National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 3.00% or 1.80 points to 61.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:), which fell 7.30% or 11.60 points to trade at 147.40 at the close. Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:) declined 7.14% or 1.40 points to end at 18.20 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) was down 7.04% or 1.40 points to 18.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 217 to 30 and 2 ended unchanged.

Shares in Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) fell to all time lows; losing 7.04% or 1.40 to 18.50.

Crude oil for November delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $84.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.80% or 0.73 to hit $91.57 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 7.20 to trade at $1,684.50 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.19% to 3.76, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 109.39.
