The concept for the device was showcased at SID 2021 in the beginning of this year but the actual product may differ. At that time, the concept showed a display with very thin bezels and an under display camera. At this point of time, almost nothing is known about the device except the name which is also not final. It is believed that more details about the foldable laptop would surface in the coming weeks.
Talking about foldable PCs, Lenovo has actually beaten Samsung in launching it first. The Chinese rival launched the ‘ThinkPad X1 Fold’ foldable PC earlier this year. The ThinkPad X1 Fold was launched at a staggering starting price of Rs 3,29,000 in India.
The ThinkPad X1 Fold comes with a foldable graphite layer to help dissipate heat and optimise cooling. It sports a 13.3-inch 2K OLED 4:3 (2048 x 1536 pixels, 300 nits) DCI-P3 95% touchscreen that can be folded from the middle. It is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor with Intel Hybrid Technology coupled with an 8GB LPDDR4X 4267MHz RAM. The device supports up to 1TB PCIe-NVMe M.2 2242 SSD. The device weighs about 999g.
