Samsung revealed the prices of the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro for its Indian consumers. The range starts from Rs 27,999.
Samsung recently held a launch event for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 which also introduced the Galaxy Watch5 series of smartwatches. This year, there is the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro. At the time of the event, the prices of the smartwatch series weren’t disclosed to Indian consumers. However, the tech brand has finally revealed the same.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series: Specs and Features
The specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 series include two variants of 40mm and 44mm. The 44mm version comes with a 1.4-inch AMOLED panel with thin bezels and the 40mm will include a 1.2-inch AMOLED panel. The smaller version has a 284mAh battery and the latter has a 410mAh battery. Both of them come with a promise of two full days of backup. The devices are powered by the Exynos W920 dual-core 1.18GHz SoC paired with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch5 Pro includes a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with slim bezels and a 45mm display. The memory storage and the AMOLED panel are similar to the Galaxy Watch5. The Pro variant comes with a 590mAh battery and supports fast charging, providing a two days battery life.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series India pricing
The price in India for Samsung Galaxy Watch5 starts at Rs 27,999 and the Galaxy Watch5 Pro starts at Rs 44,999. Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro pre-bookings start on August 16th. The customers who pre-book the Watch5 series will be offered the Galaxy Buds2 wireless earbuds priced at Rs 11,999 at a special price of Rs 2,999. The deliveries are starting on August 26.
