NEW DELHI: Samsung has announced the flagship phones for the year 2022 — Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra. All three smartphones offer high-end specifications and this is the first time that the company has included a built-in S Pen in the Galaxy S22 Ultra. It appears that the company will soon launch the Galaxy S22 series smartphones in India. Samsung has started pre-bookings for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra in the country.
Samsung starts pre-bookings for Galaxy S22 series in India
The smartphone maker has started the pre-bookings for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series on the Samsung India Store. Interested customers will have to pay Rs 1,999 to reserve the smartphone. The customers who will pre-book the smartphone will get a free Galaxy SmartTag worth Rs 2,699 with the smartphone. Moreover, customers are also allowed to cancel the pre-booking anytime and they will get a 100% refund.
Samsung Galaxy S22 series India launch date
Samsung has not yet revealed the India launch date of the Galaxy S22 series, but the pre-bookings will continue till February 21. So, there are chances that the company may launch the smartphones around the global rollout of the Galaxy S22 Ultra which is scheduled for February 25.
Samsung Galaxy S22 series price
The price of the Samsung Galaxy S22 starts at $799 ( Rs 59,865), while the price of the Samsung Galaxy 22+ begins at $999.99 (Rs 74,830). On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a starting price tag of $1,199 (Rs 89,700). It is expected that the company may give the devices around a similar price tag in India. The smartphone maker is also expected to reveal the launch offers at the time of the India launch.
