Samsung is set to announce the next generation of foldable smartphones later this year. Details about the upcoming Galaxy Fold and Flip smartphones have already started surfacing online giving us an early look at the Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4. This time around, notable tipster IceUniverse has tipped the display dimensions of the upcoming Galaxy Fold 4.
As per the tipster, the inner display of the Galaxy Fold 4 will be wider compared to the Galaxy Fold 3 with a said aspect ratio of 23:9. The Galaxy Fold 3 has an aspect ratio of 24:5:9. Meanwhile, the outer display is said to have a 6:5 aspect ratio compared to Galaxy Fold 3’s 5:4 aspect ratio, making the outer display of Galaxy Fold 4 a bit wider than its predecessor. Keeping these dimensions in mind, the Galaxy Fold 4 seems to bit wider but shorter foldable compared to the current-gen Galaxy Fold 3.
There is no word on the dimensions of the Galaxy Flip 4 but we do get to know the rumoured battery capacity of the upcoming smartphone. InceUniverse suggests that the Galaxy Flip 4 would come with a 4,700mAh battery, which means no more battery woes for Galaxy Flip users. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Fold 4 is expected to come with the same 4,400mAh battery. Both the foldables are said to support 25W fast charging.
Earlier rumours suggest that both the Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4 might come with upgraded camera setups and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipsets.
