Revenant Esports Confirms Participation in Skyesports Masters

Revenant Esports’ Counter-Strike: Global Offensive squad will soon be competing in the upcoming Skyesports Masters. The esports tournament features a prize pool of Rs. 2,00,00,000. The league will feature eight different franchise teams of CS:GO and it will be a LAN event taking place in Mumbai. Revenant Esports, fresh off the back of funding received from actor Tiger Shroff, now has a slot in Skyesports Masters.

Revenant Esports in Skyesports Masters

Revenant Esports will sign a seven-man roster for the competition. This squad will consist of five starters and two substitutes. The lineup has not been revealed yet. As per the tournament rules, each team is permitted to have two international players in their squad. Furthermore, Revenant Esports will have to add two players from the recently held cafe qualifiers.

Commenting on entering a new title, Rohit Jagasia, Founder and CEO, of Revenant Esports said, “We at Revenant have always had a holistic approach in esports and believe diversification is a key. Skyesports has given us just that with the franchised Skyesports Masters.”

Rohit Jagasia added that they will soon have eight rosters across different esports games in India. He said that the organisation believes in recognizing and nurturing esports talent to make them stars. Jagasia believes that the Skyesports Masters’ cafe qualifiers give Revenant Esports an opportunity to do that. “It was a no-brainer for us to enter this promising league as a franchised team”, concluded Revenant Esports CEO.

Skyesports CEO and Founder Shiva Nandy said, “I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Revenant Esports into the Skyesports Masters. As a partner in our league, Revenant will get the opportunity to compete against the best CSGO teams in the country for a huge prize pool of Rs. 2 Crores.”

Shiva Nandy added that Revenant Esports is an organisation which believes in “long term commitments and our goal of growing Counter-Strike from the grassroots level in the future is aligned with Rohit’s vision.”

Skyesports Cafe Qualifiers

The cafe qualifiers will be held in over 20 cities in India. Skyesports has given an update about cafe qualifiers and they will be opening up the registrations for these qualifiers soon. The qualifiers act as open qualifiers for teams to progress and get a shot at glory. The company has tied up with several local gaming cafes in India to find CS:GO talent at the grassroots level. The Skyesports Masters will kick off with an online league before qualified teams take each other on during the LAN Playoffs.
