Reliance Jio and MediaTek have joined hands to launch Gaming Masters 2.0. This will be the second season of the esports series. This time the event will feature Krafton’s Battle royale game title Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). The event targets new and existing online gaming enthusiasts as well as professional gamers in the country. The prize pool for the ‘Gaming Masters 2.0’ is Rs 12,50,000, same as that of the first season. Gaming Masters season one too was held in association with Mediatek.
The first season of Gaming Masters started in January 2021. The 70-day-long e-sports tournament featured Garena’s Free Fire game. The tournament went on for seven weeks and reportedly saw participation from 43,000 teams. The second season of Gaming Masters starts November 23, 2021.
