Redmi Smartwatch launched with built-in GPS, up to 10 days battery life and more at Rs 3,999 – Times of India

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched its first smartwatch in India. Simply named the Redmi Smartwatch, the device comes with an LCD touch display and offers over 200 watch faces. Health features available on the smartwatch include heart-rate monitor, sleep tracking and guided breathing.
Redmi Smartwatch is priced at Rs 3,999. It will be available on Flipkart, Mi Home and Mi.com website from May 25. The device comes with four colour strap variants. These include Ivory, Black, Blue, Olive.
Redmi Smartwatch: Specifications
The smartwatch has a 1.4-inch (3.56cm) full touch LCD display with 320×320 pixel resolution and auto brightness feature. It comes with a layer of 2.5D curved glass on top.
The watch comes with built-in GPS/GLONASS support to track outdoors. It is equipped with Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity.
Redmi smartwatch comes with a square-shaped dial encapsulated between detachable silicone straps. There is also a button placed on the right side. To charge the device, one needs to place the watch on the charging pad. It takes up to 2 hours to charge completely. Xiaomi claims that the smartwatch can last up to 10 days on a single charge.
The device features a swim-proof design and is resistant to water up to 5ATM. Sensors on the smartwatch include PPG heart rate sensor, three-axis acceleration sensor, geomagnetic sensor, barometer, gyroscope, and an ambient light sensor.
It is equipped with 11 exercise modes that include trail running, hiking, walking, indoor cycling, swimming, and more. It can also track daily activities like steps taken, calories burned and more. Heart-rate monitoring, sleep monitoring and guided breathing are other features available on the smartwatch.
