Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi expanded its entry-level smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Redmi 10A smartphone last week. The company also launched another affordable smartphone, the Redmi 10 Power, along with the Redmi 10A. The Redmi 10A smartphone will go on sale today (April 26) in India at 12 pm via Amazon and the company’s official website Mi.com. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 processor, packs a 5000mAh battery, sports a large display and has a single rear camera setup. This device is set to compete with the likes of — Infinix Hot 11 2022, Realme Narzo 50i, Realme C31, and Tecno Spark 8C.
Redmi 10A price and availability in India
Redmi 10A will be available in India in two RAM and storage options — 3GB RAM + 32GB and 4G RAM + 64GB storage variants. The base model carries a price tag of Rs 8,499 while the top variant is priced at Rs 9,499. The handset will be available in three different colour options — Charcoal Black, Sea Blue and Slate Grey. The Redmi 10A will be available for purchase on Amazon and Mi.com starting 12 pm.

The Redmi 10A smartphone sports a 6.53-inch HD+ display that comes with a screen-to-body ratio of 20: 9 and supports a peak brightness of 400 nits. This phone is powered by MediaTek Helio G25 chipset coupled with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. Users can also expand the device’s internal storage up to 512GB using a microSD card.
The handset features a 13MP single rear camera setup and the camera island also houses an LED flash. The camera supports Xiaomi’s AI Camera 5.0. Meanwhile, the smartphone also sports a 5MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
The Redmi 10A packs a 5000mAh battery unit that supports 10W charging. For connectivity, the device is equipped with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version 5.0, GPS, Micro USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone will run on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.
