According to GizmoChina, the Chinese phone maker may unveil the Redmi Note 12 series for its domestic market in October 2022. The report has also shared some key details of the upcoming mid-range smartphone series and suggested that the lineup will offer a balanced experience. The company has recently launched Redmi Note 11T Pro, Note 11T Pro+ and Note 11 SE smartphones in China. So, October is expected to be the ideal time for the arrival of the Note 12 series.
Redmi Note 12 expected specifications
The report mentions that an early prototype of a device from the upcoming series featured a flat screen and the camera punch-hole was placed at the top centre. However, the report didn’t mention the size of the screen but claimed that the upcoming handset will offer a high refresh rate.
As per the report, the upcoming device is expected to sport a 50MP triple camera setup. Moreover, the arrangement of the lenses is also likely to be similar to its predecessor which indicates that the company might not change the camera configurations much.
