Xiaomi has started rolling out a new software update to Redmi Note 10S. The smartphone is receiving MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update.
The software update comes with build number V12.5.5.0.RKLTRXM and is rolling out in batches. This means it will initially be available for select users and will eventually be available for all users.
Redmi Note 10S was launched in May this year. It is a budget category device that comes with a starting price of Rs 14,999. The phone’s base model has 6GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity. Another model has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, priced at Rs 15,999.

The smartphone comes with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display has a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. Redmi Note 10S comes with dual SIM support and runs Android 11 operating system topped with MIUI 12.
The handset is powered by MediaTek Helio G95 processor paired with 6GB. The smartphone comes in two storage variants — 64GB and 128GB.
Redmi Note 10S features a quad-rear camera setup. The camera system comprises of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor with 118°filed-of-view, a 2MP depth and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the device comes with a 13MP front camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
The smartphone comes with a water-resistant design and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
