NEW DELHI: Xiaomi is all set to expand its budget smartphone lineup in India. The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed the launch of Redmi 10A smartphone in the country. Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch the Redmi 10A on April 20 in the country.
Successor to Redmi 9A, the company launched Redmi 10A in China last month. Xiaomi is expected to launch the same variant in India. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will be available online on Amazon India website. Redmi 10A will come in blue, black and silver colour options.
Redmi 10A specifications
Redmi 10A is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage options — 64GB and 128GB. Users can further expand the storage up to 512GB by adding a microSD card.
Redmi 10A features a 6.53-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixel resolution. The dual SIM smartphone runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 12.5. Redmi 10A sports a 13MP single lens rear camera with LED flash. The smartphone is also home to a 5MP front camera for selfies.
The budget smartphone comes with P2i coating which makes it splash-resistant. The smartphone is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.
