Recruitment for doctor posts soonHyderabad: Recruitment notification for 1326 doctor posts will be issued in the next few days, announced state health minister T Harish Rao during a review meeting held on Monday, as part of the recruitment process for a total of 12,755 posts in the state health department.

Recruitment process for 10,028 posts will be done by the Medical Health Services Recruitment Board. A total of 1326 posts in the medical education, public health department, TVVP and IPM departments were suggested to be replaced by the medical board.

The health minister asked authorities to prepare a notification following the SC, ST and BC reservations to avoid any legal dispute.

“We are currently making the necessary arrangements to conduct the examinations and the necessary staff is ready. Notifications will be issued in installments within these two to three weeks,” as per an official statement.

Posts in the AYUSH department should be filled by the Medical Recruitment Board itself.

In addition to technical posts, posts like lab assistant and junior assistant will be filled by the TSPSC. Vacancies in NIMS will be filled by the NIMS Board and all other posts by the Medical Recruitment Board.

The posts of staff nurses in the AYUSH department will be filled by the Medical Recruitment Board and not by TSPSC and appointments will be made by amending the relevant government order Nos. 34 and 35.

“Staff nurses should be selected on the basis of marks by conducting a written test in a multiple choice manner. 80% marks for written test and 20 marks for weightage marks given to those who worked during Covid period,” read directions issued in the meeting.
