Earlier this year, Realme brought its flagship – the GT 2 series – to India and other parts of the world. Now, it is reportedly preparing to launch the third model in the GT 2 series, dubbed the GT 2 Explorer Master Edition. If rumours are to be believed, then this model of the GT 2 could debut in the second half of 2022. Notable tipster Digital Chat Station has spilled beans over the specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
In a post on Weibo, Digital Chat Station revealed the specifications of the upcoming Realme smartphone, purportedly the GT 2 Explorer Master Edition. The tipster states that the smartphone would be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and is expected to debut in the second half of this year. Furthermore, as per the tipster, the smartphone might come with an OLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz having narrow bezels.
The tipster also mentions that the smartphone would feature a 50MP primary sensor. The said smartphone could also come in two variants having different battery capacities and charging speeds like the recently launched GT Neo 3. The one variant is said to have a 4800mAH battery with 150W charging support while the second variant is said to support 100W charging and might boast a 5000mAh battery.
Last month, the tipster shared the benchmark scores of a Realme smartphone bearing model number RMX3551 with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, allegedly the GT 2 Explorer Master Edition. The smartphone scored over 1 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark.
