NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Realme recently confirmed that it will launch the Realme GT 5G smartphone in global markets this month. The company has now announced that it will launch its flagship smartphone globally on June 15.
This is the same smartphone which the company launched in China in March this year. Realme has also said that the Realme GT 5G will be the most affordable smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The company has also confirmed that it will launch the Vegan Leather version of the handset globally.
Realme will live stream the launch event on all social media platforms at 5.30 pm IST on June 15. It is also expected that the company will launch the smartphone at the same time in India as well.
Realme GT 5G specifications
Realme GT 5G is powered by the most-powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The smartphone comes with a 6.43-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers a 120Hz refresh rate and it is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top.
The high-end smartphone comes in two variants — 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Realme GT 5G runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Realme UI.
The sports car inspired smartphone features a triple rear camera setup 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, Sony IMX682 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.3 aperture, 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.
The handset is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 65W Super Dart charging support.
