Realme 8i and Realme 8s 5G are now official. These two smartphones join the Realme 8, Realme 8 5G and Realme 8 Pro — making it a total of five Realme 8 series handsets available in the market. Out of the two Realme handsets launched today, the Realme 8i is more affordable and is claimed to be India’s first smartphone to feature MediaTek Helio G96 processor.
In terms of specs, it has a 6.6-inch FHD+ display and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It houses a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP monochrome portrait sensor and a 2MP macro lens. Backed by a 5000mAh battery, it has 18W fast charging support. The company has priced the Realme 8i at Rs 13,999 onwards.
At this price, the handset faces stiff competition from Xiaomi’s Redmi 10 Pro smartphone. This model is priced at Rs 12,499 and comes powered by MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. It sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. Backed by a 6000mAh battery, it offers 18W fast charge support.
