Ranbir and Alia indulge in some wedding after-party fun; a close dance on Chahiyya Chaiyya, red comfy clothes and oodles of love

Newly married Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt made sure to have some fun at their wedding after-party. How do we know? There’s an adorable video of the couple that is doing the rounds on social media. After they tied the knot on Thursday, the newlyweds hosted an after-party, where they danced their heart out on Shah Rukh Khan’s hit number Chahiyya Chaiyya from the film, Dil Se. Instant Bollywood shared a video on its Instagram.

Alia can be seen dressed in a beautiful red Anarkali and her husband complemented her by wearing a matching Nehru jacket over white kurta-pyjama. The two hold each other close as they danced on the track. As the beats pick up, they let do the hook steps from the song with such zeal and joy.

Ranbir and Alia got married in an intimate Punjabi wedding at Ranbir’s Vaastu residence complex. It was attended by their family members and close friends. After their wedding, Alia took to Instagram to share some love-filled pictures of the couple from the ceremony.

She wrote, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites.
